Below you will find links to pages of some organizations we have had the opportunity to work with while in the United States or Haiti, as well as a few pages of general information about the country of Haiti.  The HMP realizes that we work in community with others as we serve our brothers and sisters in Haiti.  We hope you find these pages helpful!

Haiti Lutheran Mission Society

The Haiti Lutheran Mission Society is based in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Their three part mission plan is: Saving Souls, Healing Bodies, and Providing Accredited Christian Education.  In the past the HMP has worked with this group to build orphanages, churches, and schools in the country of Haiti. 

Missionaries of Charity

The missionaries of Charity run several houses in Haiti, serving the poorest of the poor.   We are often able to volunteer time at Sanfil, the home for the dying, and at the children’s hospital in Port Au Prince. 

House of Hope

Amer-Haitian BonZami is a Non Profit Organization dedicated to easing suffering of Haiti’s impoverished children. House of Hope is the work of Amer-Haitian BonZami, Inc., a Missouri Not for Profit Corporation.

Compassion International is one of the nation's largest Christian child sponsorship organizations, working with more than 65 denominations and thousands of indigenous church partners in Africa, Asia, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. Compassion has been recognized for its financial integrity with top ratings and recommendations by several "watchdog" organizations.  You can Sponsor a child from Haiti for 32 dollars a month. 

Feed My Starving Children

Feed My Starving Children is committed to feeding God's starving children hungry in body and spirit. Their approach is simple: Volunteers pack nutritious meals made up of rice, soy, vitamins and dehydrated vegetables, and they partner with relief organizations worldwide to distribute these meals to starving children. Feed My Starving Children sent 6,836,400 meals to Haiti in 2006 through mission partner, Love a Child.
